IAS Pre 2019, Analysis & Expected Cutoff Marks

This year Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted IAS Prelims Exam on 2nd June 2019. The Civil Services exam is one of the most prestigious exams of India. In this post we will discuss Prelims Exam pattern, analysis of the paper, difficulty level and other aspects.

UPSC IAS Prelims Exam Pattern

The exam was held in two sessions. (Morning and evening) There was 1/3rd Negative Marking in the exam. Only paper -01 (General Studies) is considered for recommendation for the mains. In paper –II (CSAT), Candidates will have to score a minimum qualifying mark of 33% (i.e 66 out of 200). The marks scored in the Prelims exam will not be added to the total score for final merit.

Expected Cut-Off for UPSC IAS Prelims 2019 Exam
